The gas geyser, as a household electrical appliance, is closely bound up with our life. First, you should be aware of its false working. This is the water flow sensor, which contains one SRC DEV inductive sensor fitted on a brass tube, as shown in this photo. When the hot water tap is open, water flows through this tube; it moves one magnet inside the tube below this sensor. Due to motion of this magnet, it produces proportional voltage pulse in this sensor, which in turn triggers the high voltage generator to produce flame in gas chamber. We had faced one crisis of gas geyser here that this magnet inside the brass tube got jammed, after it triggered the gas flame. So when the hot water tap was closed, the flame continued and produced dangerous fire in our house. If you have such hot water geyser fitted in your bathroom, whenever you open and close the hot water tap, listen carefully to a sound of one sharp click. Some times, it may get jammed due to dirt present in water flow, or due to low water pressure.

Perhaps you have many small appliances at your home such as single electric oven, you should use them carefully. And here are some rules for gas geyser daily use: 1. Gas geyser must be installed outside the bathroom, and the exhaust pipe must be also installed to ensure the air flow. 2. Regularly check up is essential. Check it in soapy water and see whether there are leaks in gas pipes or not. If there is, the pipes should be immediately replaced and people should turn off the gas valve and open the windows. On that occasion, phones and other electrical appliances are forbidden. 3. The burner should be cleaned by the technicians every three months.

A gas water heater uses a method called convection to heat the water used for everyday needs. Convection is the process of cold water being injected into the water tank. Special hot water burners are located on the bottom of the tank. These burners heat the water, causing the warm water to rise to the top of the tank. This water is siphoned off through pipes and transported through your home plumbing to provide hot water wherever you need it. As the hot water on the top is siphoned off, new cold water is pumped into the tank, and the process repeats itself. How long your hot water lasts depends on how big your tank is and how efficient the burners work at heating the water.
