There are a variety of gas hobs on the market today, the authenticity and the pros and cons exist. How to choose economic, secure, reliable and practical built in gas hobs  ? Relevant experts believe that consumers should have some knowledge of the gas hobs.

Steps/methods:
1. Selecting gas hob species adapts to local gas source. Gas is roughly divided into liquefied petroleum gas (Y), artificial gas (R), natural gas (T) three categories. The calorific value and the gas pressure of these three gases are different. If the gas hob type does not match with the gas, the risk will occur. Therefore, the hob applicable for different gas sources must not be mixed. Before the selection of gas hob, we should distinguish the gas species.

2. Packaging, labeling should be complete. Packaging should be marked with factory name and factory address, type, etc. Each hob should have a certificate, instruction manual. Hob side panels should have a nameplate, which is marked with model, applicable gas and pressure, heat flow and production date.

3. Proper heat flow. The greater heat flow the domestic gas hob designed, the stronger the heating capacity, which is raging fire we usually say. Generally, consumers are willing to select raging fire hob; in fact, the heat flow should adapt to cooking mode and hob. If blindly pursuing for large heat flow, it will greatly reduce the hob thermal efficiency, and increase waste gas emissions.

4. Appearance. The hob should be beautiful, press table handles by hands, there should have no obvious warping; hold two opposite angles of the hob and twist back and forth, the hob should have no significant deformation. Panel material shall not use tinplate (tinplate can be used to distinguish between magnets and stainless steel), hob and burner cap should be finely processed, having no obvious glitches.

5. Airtightness. If the hob airtight failed, it is a fatal flaw, which is the largest hidden risk for hob accidents. Simple test method is as follows: Turn gas supply, close the knob, brush the piping, valve and interface with soap, there should no gas leaking.

6. Ignition switch. Open (ON), off (0FF), the location of small fire is accurately marked, when electronic ignition switch toggles, the sound is crisp and powerful, blue fire and clear. If the ignition switch is soft, muffled voice, then it is inferior. Qualified ignition switch life supplied by regular gas hob suppliers is more than 6000 times, cocks tightness is still qualified, while life of the poor quality igniter is only 2000 times.

7. Flame combustion state. It is an important manifestation of the hob burning quality. After ignition, adjust the damper, you should be able to adjust clear outline, pale blue flame, not cause yellow flame, smoke, or tempering incomplete combustion phenomena, because these phenomena directly affect the thermal efficiency of the hob and the quality of the flue gas. Turn off gas source, sparing a small flame 1/3 height of normal flame, the hob can still normally combust, no flame, no tempering.
